A few days ago I spilled the news that we’ll shortly be launching a new website which will deliver information to help eCommerce professionals understand where to focus, including: understanding Amazon’s best sellers, new market entrants such as Jet.com, and back-to-school shopping insights. There’s actually one more surprise in store (pun intended).

Very soon, Profitero willl be announcing a brand new capability for consumer brands in time for the holiday season, delivering insights tailored specifically for their business with a major online retailer.

It’s predicted that almost a third of UK shoppers (30%) plan to buy online during this year’s Black Friday compared to just 8% last year.

And according to eMarketer, U.S. retail sales in November and December could grow 5.7 percent compared to 2014. If that happened, this year would mark one of the best increases in total U.S. retail sales in several years.

During this potentially lucrative upcoming season, you’ll no doubt be making strategic adjustments in order to maximize your eCommerce sales. But as the percentage of eCommerce sales continues to grow as a share of your overall revenue, you can no longer afford to guess at key metrics in order to make decisions and course-correct.

With our imminent new release, we’re confident that this season will be a tipping point where data and analytics aren’t just used for pre- and post-season benchmarks.  Stay tuned for a major announcement!
