Tesco Case Study: Profitero Benchmarks Tesco Products Against 18 Million Amazon UK Products

Online retailer Amazon is increasingly viewed by most retailers as their biggest competitor, specifically when it comes to price. But keeping track of Amazon UK’s 18 million products and monitoring their prices on a regular basis is no mean feat.

According to Tesco CEO Phil Clarke, the supermarket wants to be the world’s largest ‘multichannel retailer’.
