Account Executive

Location: Boston, MA

Job Description Overview

Profitero is on the forefront of the eCommerce revolution, providing brands with analytics and insights that help them sell more products on Amazon, Walmart.com and other leading eCommerce sites. We’re more than doubling our eCommerce business every year and looking for smart, competitive salespeople to fuel our momentum and help us grow even faster.

As an Account Executive, you’ll be responsible for developing and closing new business opportunities as well as championing our solution in the market. The ideal candidate will have experience of exceeding targets in an FMCG and / or technology based sales environment. Working in a fast paced company, you’ll need the ability to learn quickly and have the self-motivation and determination it takes to succeed in a rapidly evolving market.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a pipeline of opportunities across a portfolio of hundreds of consumer brands and manufacturers in the U.S
  • Deliver against quarterly sales targets by closing contracts with deal size ranging from small- to large-size manufacturers
  • Develop a high level of expertise of Profitero’s industry, product offerings, competitive landscape and associated technologies and how they solve customers’ business issues
  • Profile and research target accounts in assigned territories using methods and tools such as LinkedIn, Salesforce and others
  • Arrange online calls, product demos and face-to-face meetings to demonstrate solution benefits & capabilities to key decision maker
  • Work closely with our Business Development Reps and Marketing team to effectively manage in-bound opportunities
  • Prepare and manage sales pipeline and opportunities in Salesforce
  • Negotiate pricing of contracts and close deals

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of direct sales experience with proven track record of exceeding targets
  • Solid account qualification skills; Self-starter approach to researching target accounts and gathering contacts
  • BA/BS degree required 
  • Understanding of, and contacts within, the FMCG sector a plus
  • Experience of working with Salesforce CRM a plus

Data Quality Manager, EMEA

Location: Maidenhead, UK

Responsibilities:

  • Become a product expert on Profitero’s Digital Shelf 360 platform
  • Diagnose and resolve technical challenges our customers have

Analyst, Strategy & Insight, EMEA

Location: Maidenhead, Berkshire

Role & responsibilities

The Strategy and Insight analyst is a critical role in the interpretation and delivery of eCommerce insight, generated from Profitero’s industry-leading analytics solution. These insights are used to help the world’s largest brand manufacturers, such as General Mills, Heineken, Adidas, Coty, L’Oreal and Panasonic, grow their sales and share on Amazon and other leading retail websites.

Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Insight EMEA, the Insight Analyst is instrumental in directly supporting the success of Profitero’s European customers through the production of tailored, actionable insights to help them achieve eCommerce excellence. Additionally, the Analyst will produce analysis and insight for distribution in Profitero white papers, blog posts, infographics, and presentations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with technical teams to assure data accuracy and quality
  • Querying data to support ad hoc customer requests and ongoing, structured analysis
  • Synthesizing and interpreting data and drawing clear conclusions
  • Producing charts, tables, presentations, white papers, infographics, and blog posts
  • Supporting customers directly by phone, email, and in person

Key requirements & desired skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of increasing responsibility in an analytics-intensive market research, consulting, retail, manufacturing, or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities as well as interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional technical mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with eCommerce a strong plus
  • Knowledge of other European languages would also be useful: French, German, Spanish

Role Description:

As Key Account Manager you will be responsible for supporting and developing our growing customer base. You will be in charge of a rapidly expanding portfolio of branded customers and you will be their main point of contact.

As the face of Profitero with these customers, you will be responsible for building successful relationships with your main contacts and for expanding our networks across the customer organisation. The role will involve ensuring renewal via client satisfaction and identifying growth opportunities through understanding client needs.

The role is the pivotal interface between our customers and Profitero internal teams.  You will therefore be expected to build expertise quickly and establish an internal network that you can call on as and when required.

This position requires a highly organized, motivated and productive self-starter with at least 2 years experience in dedicated account management.

Responsibilities:

  • Day to day contact for Profitero’s Asian customers supporting a broad customer base
  • Ensuring client satisfaction leading to uncontested renewal status
  • Developing a high level of expertise of Profitero’s industry, product offerings, competitive landscape, and understanding of associated technologies and how they solve customer’s business issues
  • Building a relationships and networks across a portfolio of customers, upselling new features where appropriate
  • Arranging conference calls, product demos, training and face-to-face meetings to educate our customers on our solution’s benefits/capabilities

Requirements:

  • Preference for a degree in a business/marketing related field and 2 years of relevant account management experience with a proven track record
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication (written and oral) and active listening skills
  • Native level Chinese speaker, business level English (written & spoken)
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask to effectively prioritize and manage workflow
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities as well as interpersonal skills
