Daniel King Joins Profitero as President and Chief Operating Officer

Profitero today announced the appointment of Daniel King to president and chief operating officer (COO), a new position within the company.

“We are delighted to bring Daniel on board as president and COO as Profitero responds to growing demand for its eCommerce analytics solution for consumer packaged goods brands,” commented Vol Pigrukh, CEO and co-founder of Profitero. “Our recently announced alliance with Nielsen reinforces our position as the leading global provider of eCommerce analytics, and Daniel’s industry knowledge and proven international experience will enable us to further scale our operations globally.”

Effective immediately, Daniel will oversee Profitero’s sales, client services, marketing and strategy & insights divisions, ensuring operational excellence across the company.  Daniel will also be responsible for Profitero’s global expansion as well as accelerating the rapid growth of its sales team across EMEA.

Daniel has been with Profitero since its inception, initially as a board advisor and then as a non-executive board director, and he brings more than 15 years of experience within eCommerce, data insights, SaaS and analytics. He has extensive knowledge in investing in, advising, and scaling up high-growth companies, including helping them expand internationally. Daniel has previously held CEO and managing director roles with a number of successful technology companies including Compete, MySupermarket and Experian Hitwise.
