Role & Responsibilities

The Analyst, Strategy & Insight EMEA will play a critical role in the analysis, interpretation, and presentation of insight derived from data generated by Profitero’s software. 

Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Insight EMEA, the Insights Analyst will be instrumental in directly supporting Profitero’s European customers’ success by producing tailored, actionable insight. Additionally, the Analyst will produce analysis and insight for distribution in Profitero white papers, blog posts, infographics, and presentations. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Liasing with technical teams to assure data accuracy and quality
  • Querying data to support ad hoc customer requests and ongoing, structured analysis
  • Synthesizing and interpreting data and drawing clear conclusions
  • Producing charts, tables, presentations, white papers, infographics, and blog posts
  • Supporting customers directly by phone, email, and in person

Key Requirements & Desired Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 2+ years of increasing responsibility in an analytics-intensive market research, consulting, retail, manufacturing, or similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical capabilities as well as interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional technical mastery of Excel and PowerPoint

Job Description Overview

Reporting to the VP of North America Sales, the Regional Sales Manager will be part of a dynamic team that is selling the world’s premier eCommerce solution for monitoring what shoppers are viewing and buying online. Profitero actively tracks more than 450 million products across 5,000 retailer websites daily. We provide product manufacturers insights on how their products are positioned online, and recommendations in which areas to improve, leading to increased eCommerce sales, the fastest-growing area of retail.

The RSM will sell Profitero’s SaaS-based Digital Shelf and Sales & Share estimation solutions to product manufacturers, specifically fast-moving CPG (consumer packaged goods) organizations. RSMs will be responsible for prospecting, developing, and driving new business sales in their territory and within their assigned named account target base. RSMs will also identify and qualify leads while consistently closing business on a monthly/quarterly basis in order to meet or exceed their annual sales quota. This role can be based in any major city, but does require up to 40% travel (typically 2-3 trips per month for 2-3-day duration each).

Ideal candidates will have the ability to consult with customers, identify requirements/uncover needs, and perform product demonstrations in easily understood terms while developing relationships with eCommerce decision makers and other influencers within each assigned target account.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Development of territory/target account sales strategy
  • Achieve annual assigned sales target
  • Management of the sales cycle from lead generation through close, including occasional post-close service
  • Intensive business development, which will include targeted outreach via phone and e-mail
  • Must have clear understanding of consultative sales process
  • Delivery of sales orders through skilled lead identification/qualification and pipeline management
  • Ability to confidently demonstrate the products and its value
  • Keep in touch and build relationships with key contacts at target accounts
  • Accurate and consistent logging of sales activity
  • Provide prospects with formal proposals

  • A minimum of 6 years of sales experience selling a technology or SaaS-based solution
  • 2+ years of experience either working at a CPG company in a sales/eCommerce capacity and/or
  • 2+ years of experience selling an eCommerce/analytics solution to CPG companies
  • A proven track record of:
    • Consistent quota attainment or overachievement
    • Track record selling to CPG companies
    • Experience closing larger deals, six-figure deals
  • Excellent presentation and demonstration skills with a high degree of confidence
  • Self-starter and highly motivated; ability to quickly “think on your feet”
  • BA/BS

The Manager, Product Marketing reports to the Vice President Marketing, Global.  In this new role, the Manager, Product Marketing will be the voice of our customer and the expert on competitors.  S/he will balance strategic with tactical responsibilities and have the desire to operate in a fast paced, global environment. The Manager, Product Marketing will identify the needs of our buyers and develop the positioning, messaging, pricing, packaging and marketing materials to drive retention and customer growth.

  • Proven track record developing pricing and packaging for a Saas company, includes development of pricing models
  • Exceptional technical writing skills, verbal communication skills, strong business judgment, and high level of initiative, creativity and flexibility
  • Experience with setup and management of usage tracking software (selection of usage tracking software a plus)
  • Strong personal communication, influence and presentation skills
  • Ability to create a range of documentation including datasheets, website content, presentations and sales tools

The Implementation Manager role is based in Maidenhead, Berkshire (UK).

Responsibilities Include

  • Manage new client setup and implementation from client input gathering, requirements specification, development through to delivery 

  • Ensure planning is completed as per agreed deadlines and implementation timelines are communicated to clients and internal stakeholders
