Volodymyr Pigrukh, CEO and Co-Founder

Volodymyr Pigrukh

Volodymyr has extensive experience with technology, sales and marketing, having worked at Microsoft, Accenture and Google. Prior to that, he had his own mobile phone business, where he learnt firsthand how a very competitive retail industry works. It was here he learned that by keeping track of competitor price changes, he could influence and maximise his sales and company revenues. Volodymyr has an MSc in International Business, and a BSc in Computer Science.

Dmitry Vysotski, CTO and Co-Founder

Dmitry Vysotski

Dmitry brings a wealth of experience in software and product development with specialisation in mathematical modelling in economics. Prior to co-founding Profitero, Dmitry was a software engineer with IBM, where he was awarded the IBM Innovation Award in financial markets analytics. Before that, Dmitry worked at P&G where he was involved in product development and retail analytics. Dmitry has an MSc in Mathematics (Hons), and a BS in Computer Science (Hons) with qualifications in Mathematics, Systems Analysis, Economics and Finance.

Kanstantsin Chernysh, VP Engineering and Co-Founder

Kanstantsin Chernysh

Kanstantsin is a serial entrepreneur with expertise in online retail. As an owner of several eCommerce sites, he identified with the pain that retailers went through when spending hours on competitor monitoring and the lack of viable solutions on the market. Two years ago he started to develop a scalable technology with a vision to monitor an unlimited number of products against an unlimited number of competitors. This technology platform grew into Profitero and today it is now a commercial product helping retailers track their products against their competitors. As the product now surpasses the monitoring of over 28 million products, it probably helps that Kanstantsin has a degree with distinction in Software Engineering.

Daniel King, Non-Executive Director

Daniel King

Daniel brings over 15 years' experience in both the online and data/business intelligence industries. He has extensive knowledge in developing and scaling high-growth companies, having served as Chief Commercial Officer for mySupermarket.co.uk and previously as Managing Director of Experian Hitwise www.hitwise.com. Daniel has spoken at various industry events and has quoted in the national press and broadcast media. He is a mentor and judge on the London Business School's MBA Entrepreneurship Programme, and is also a mentor with Seedcamp, a programme aimed at bringing together next-generation start-ups with entrepreneurs, business executives and venture capitalists. Through his work with Seedcamp, he became a Non-executive Director with Profitero.

Simon Murdoch, Non-Executive Director

Simon Murdoch

Simon is a highly experienced Internet investor and advisor. He is Portfolio Director of Early Stage Ventures at Octopus Investments covering over 30 investee businesses. He is also CEO of StormForward Ltd, an eCommerce strategic consultancy business.Previously, Simon was vice president of Amazon Europe. He managed huge growth from start-up in late 1996 through to multimillion turnover and hundreds of staff, i.e. from founding his own Internet bookselling company Bookpages in late 1996, through acquisition by Amazon.com in April 1998, launch of Amazon.co.uk in October 1998 and ultra-high growth through 1999.
